Lester H. Bunting passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 85. Mr. Bunting was born in Millville Delaware the son of the late Elva and Eva (Evans) Bunting.

Mr. Bunting retire from Acme Markets as a produce manager then worked for Sus Trust as a mailman and also for the Cheer Center on their food mobile. He was a 28-year member of the Red Men Lodge, serving as treasurer for 21 years. Mr. Bunting served in the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post #28 in Millsboro.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Bunting. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Rosetta (Bowden) Bunting, children Patricia Bunting, Evelyn Willey, Lester Bunting Jr., Steve Bunting (Carol), a sister Arvetta Callis all of Georgetown, grandchildren, Brent Jackson (Kristen), Toni Wemlinger (Phil), Jessica Collins (W.T.), Nathan Bunting, Staci Banks (Cody), Jamie Cahall (Jason), Aimee Millman (Curtis), Tyler Bunting, Thomas Bunting, great grandchildren, Chaz Wemlinger, Emma Jackson, Ayden Collins, Cheyenne Bunting, Jaycee Cahall. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, September 28, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 20304 Dupont Blvd.

, Georgetown, Delaware, where friends may call after 11:00am. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made to Delaware Hospice Center 100 Patriot’s Way, Milford, DE 19963 or to First Baptist Church 20304 Dupont Blvd. Georgetown, DE 19947.
