Lyons, Leticia Vera Leon, age 49, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Mexico and lived in Lyons for the 20 years. She was employed with Sikes Farms for the past 8 years.

Leticia loved to cook, shop, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her children, Brenda Vera, Juan (Laura) Vera, and Cindy Vera all of Lyons; siblings, Jorge Leon Martinez, Arturo Leon Martinez both of Atlanta, Francisca Leon Martinez, Laurel Leon Martinez, Ponaano Leon Martinez, Alejandro Leon Vera all of Mexico, and Rosa Leon Martinez of Lyons; grandson, Ayden Vera; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:30pm to 9:00pm on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial. Funeral services and burial will be in Mexico. Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the family of Leticia Leon Vera.
