Lib Kirkman Deaton, 86, of Ramseur, died Friday, May 25, 2018 at North Pointe of Asheboro. Funeral Services, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Patterson Grove Christian Church, Ramseur. Officiating, Rev.

Steve House. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Lib was a native of Randolph County and a member of Patterson Grove Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John “JP” Deaton, parents, Cecil and Mae Yow Kirkman, sisters, Mary Jennings, Helen Benner, brothers, Jesse Kirkman, Hamp Kirkman, daughter-in-law, Pam Wilson Deaton. Survivors: sons, Darrell Deaton, of Randleman, Neal Deaton, of Ramseur, and fiancee, Christy, sister, Clara Parker, of Ramseur, brother, Bob Kirkman, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Kim Norman, and husband, David, Gregg Deaton, and wife, Laura, Tyler Deaton, great-grandchildren, Ashley Nichols, Ashton Deaton, Caitlyn Deaton. Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur.
