Lillian A. Vehovec (Popovic), age 94, of Cleveland, passed away on March 22, 2019. She was born in Cleveland on September 23, 1924, to the late Marcus and Stephania Popovic. Lill was a member of the P.L.A.V Ladies Auxiliary, Chapter 31.

She was a devoted catholic. A parishioner at St. Paul’s Church, where she was very active. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Ladies Guild.

She is currently a parishioner at St. Casimir on Neff Rd. She loved a game of chance and loved to live life to the fullest. She enjoyed a good dance.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be greatly missed. Lill is survived by her children, Carol (Bill) Halloran, Rita Lemanski and Rick (Mary) Vehovec, her grandchildren, Denny, Vicki, Michael, Teena, Nicole, Michael, Shawnelle and Ricky, her great grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, Leah, Jeremy, Emily, Trevor, Austin. Caleb, Xander and Chloe (expected in April), her great great grandchildren, Kennedy, and her sister, Bernice Maljerik.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Richard Vehovec, her grandchildren, Dillian and Shawn, her son in law, Ray Lemanski and her siblings, Dorothy, Evelyn, Maya, Rose, Bill, and John. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 30 at 10 AM at St. Casimir Church, 18022 Neff Rd.
