Lillian Caroline Ponte, age 96, of Dover, Delaware, formerly of Rockaway, NJ and Hollywood, FL, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Mrs. Ponte was a co-proprietor with her husband of the Dover Typewriter Center in Rockaway, one of the earlier businesses located on Route 46. Besides her parents and siblings, Mrs. Ponte was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Reginald V. Ponte; her daughter, Nancy L. McClure; and her grandson, Brian Coffey.

She is survived by her sons Raymond of Ronan, MT; James and Robert of Sarasota, FL; and her daughter, Karen Bailey of Camden, DE. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family is extremely grateful for her care over the nearly five years by the staff of the Courtland Manor Nursing Home in Dover.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
