Lillian H. (Hazlett) Friberg passed away on May 8, 2018 at the age of 87. She was born in Springfield on April 30, 1931 to the late John and Margaret (Bradley) Hazlett and was a graduate of the High School of Commerce. Lillian was an avid quilter and belonged to the Quilter’s Guild of Otis.
She was also on the Council on Aging in Otis, MA. Lillian was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Robert A. Friberg and a brother, John Hazlett. Lillian is survived by her children, Sandra and Richard Davey, Susan and Joel Boucher and John and Elaine Friberg and a brother, Robert Hazlett; a sister-in-law, Kiyoko Hazlett; a brother-in-law, Henry Friberg.
She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave. , Indian Orchard followed by a Funeral Home Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
