OBITUARY Lillian Medeiros January 9, 1930 – October 2, 2018 Lillian “Lil” Medeiros, age 88, of Bourne passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 02, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late John Medeiros. Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Louis M. and Mary (Costa) Medeiros, she was a longtime resident of North Dartmouth, until moving to Bourne.

Lillian is survived by her son, Jay and his wife Danielle of Bourne, MA. , along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin brother, Louis M. Medeiros Jr. and her brother Gilbert Medeiros.

She worked at Aerovox, in New Bedford, as an assembler and a tester for over four decades. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, cooking, hosting family gatherings and her annual summer vacations on Cape Cod with her family. A funeral Mass will be held on a later date at St. Julie Billiart Parish, 494 Slocum Road, North Dartmouth, MA 02747.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation www. lungcancerresearchfoundation.org/ in Lillian’s memory.
