Lillian Johnson, age 92, of Vienna, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at her residence. Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late T. H. Wilkes, Sr. and Esther Collier Wilkes. She was a member of Drayton United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.

She retired from Forest Mills in Montezuma. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed quilting and she loved to cook. She will be fondly remembered by many for her German Chocolate Cakes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Pint” Johnson and her son, Malcolm Johnny Johnson. Survivors include: Daughter: Janie Stephenson (David) of Vienna Son: James “Hoss” Johnson (Geneva) of Vienna Daughter-in-law: Judy Johnson of Vienna Brothers: T. H. Wilkes, Jr. (Charlotte) of Georgetown Douglas Wilkes (Shirley) of Vienna Grandchildren: 9 Great Grandchildren: 12 Funeral services will be at 4 PM Tuesday, March 27 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna with interment in Johnson Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Memorial gifts may be made to Drayton United Methodist Church, c/o Janie Stephenson, 3794 Highway 90, Vienna, Georgia 31092. Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
