Obituary for Lillie M. Brown Lillie M. (Braden) Brown, 89, of Henderson, KY passed away on December 2, 2018 at the Methodist Hospital in Henderson formerly from Anderson, IN. She was born on August 25, 1929 in Shirley, Indiana to Joseph and Jewell (Wright) Braden. Lillie graduated from Wilkinson High School in Wilkinson, IN.

She was a nurse for St. John’s Hospital, and retired after 20 years of service. She was a long time member of Lindberg Church of Christ, also a member of Naples and Pennyrile Church of Christ. Lillie is survived by her loving children, Dawn (Rick) Crowder of Henderson, KY, Bonnie (Kenneth) Johnson of Lucas, KY, and Bruce (Robyn) Barnett of Spring Hill, TN; seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Jack N. Brown; parents; sons, Kyle Barnett and Kevin Barnett; one grandchild; and father to her children, Owen Wesley Barnett. Lillie had a long full life , she enjoyed decorating, cooking, playing cards, watching baseball and traveled through several US States.

Lillie was a volunteer at Greenbriar Elementary helping with special needs children along with her grandson, Eric. Most of all she was proud of her family. Special thank you to Colonial Assisted Living for her care the past several years.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN. Services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
