Lillie Mae (Dickson) Johnson Lillie Mae (Dickson) Johnson 95, lifelong resident of the Denton Community west of Marlow, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 in Marlow, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Denton Baptist Church, with Larry Johnson officiating, internment will follow at the Denton Cemetery, arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors. Lillie was born June 18, 1923 at Lawton, Oklahoma to James B. and Katie (Rigsby) Dickson, she was the first born of 9 children, she attended school at the Denton School, on July 6, 1940 she married Kenneth Murl Johnson Sr. at the Denton Baptist Church, by Rev.

Autry the pastor, they were married for 66 years until he passed away on December 27, 2006. After the children were grown, she worked as a cook at Kanakuk, Gregston and Marlow Manor. She loved it and made many friends, her last year she was a resident at Marlow Manor.

Thank you for all love they gave her. Lillie is survived by daughters; Jeanette Powell of Marlow, Oklahoma and Helen Mason of Marlow, Oklahoma and a son; Kenneth Murl Johnson Jr. of Marlow, Oklahoma and was preceded in death by a son; James Keith Johnson, also surviving are 2 sisters; Betty Copeland & her husband Leon of Huntsville, Texas and Ruby Plummer of Dickson, Texas, a brother; Joe Dickson & his wife Virginia of Keemah, Texas, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Donald Powell, Scott Powell, Jayson Powell, John Johnson, Randy Johnson and Shea Mason.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Loucks and Ernie Bernal, her favorite Doctor and friend Earnestine Olsen. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Lena McCarty, and infant sister; Charlene Dickson, brothers; James, Johnnie and Roy Dickson, her husband Kenneth M.
