Lillie Modet Morton, a long-time resident of Weatherford, went to be with her Lord and Savior September 14, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in Greenwood Community Cemetery. Lillie was born in Comanche, Texas on October 4, 1935 to John Houston Price and Gertrude Grace Hellums Price.

Lillie was preceded in death by husband Hiram Ward Morton Sr and son John Robert Morton. She is survived by sisters, Wanda Sue Turman and Johnnie Lee Brooks; her children, Larry Joe Gaines, Deborah Lynn Stanley, James Houston Morton, Karen Renee Swain and Hiram Ward Morton, Jr aka (Bubbie); grandchildren, David Ray Stanley, Dawn DeLynn Stanley-Hall, Steven Heath Stanley, Justin Scott Stanley, Christopher Ryan Hamilton, Taylor Blayne Hamilton, Carter Blayne Hamilton, Marissa Morton and Alison Morton; several great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
