Lilly’s Obituary BALLARD, WV – Lilly K. Wesley Humphreys, age 95, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the Country View Assisted Living in Peterstown, WV. Born September 12, 1923, on Sugar Run in Red Sulphur Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late Fred J. and Florence M. Miller Wesley. Lilly was a graduate of Greenville High School and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Ballard, WV.

She was a homemaker and loved gardening, sewing, church, and eating every week at Ryans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Eugene Humphreys; two children, Ronald Eugene and Lilly Faye; and two sisters, Glenna Lee Wesley and Irene Greene. Survivors include one son, Clark M. Humphreys and wife Linda of Bozoo, WV; three grandchildren, Teresa J. Humphreys and friend John Board of Nitro, WV, Kathy J. Hutchinson and husband Robert of Gainesville, VA, and Fred Humphreys and wife Janet of Pembroke, VA; eight great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Tim Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Greenville, WV. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
