OBITUARY Linda C Mattox March 24, 1942 – November 13, 2018 MATTOX, Linda C, 76, of Tampa, passed away November 13, 2018. She enjoyed traveling, and was the crew chief with her husband as the driver, racing cars at Sebring and Daytona. Linda had a career in education, teaching grades from 1st to college level, the last 16 years of her teaching career was with the IB program at Hillsborough High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Leonard “Lenox” Harmon and Shawn Mattox, and son in law Michael Denis. Linda is survived by husband John T Mattox, children; Lacinda Denis, Natalie Eastman (James), and Juan Carlos Barrios, grandchildren; Leonard, Michael, Ryan, Emily, Hannah, Lucas, Oliver, and Layla, many cousins, and extended family. A visitation will be held 10 am, Monday November 19th with a funeral service at 11 am, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.

Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to American Cancer Society or Leukemia Society.
