Linda (Chubby) Cooper Gallman June 08, 1950 – January 30, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Linda (Chubby) Gallman Gaffney, SC – Linda Cooper (Chubby) Gallman, 68, of 360 Covered Bridge Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her residence. Born in Waynesville, NC, she was the wife of the late Ronald Dean Gallman and daughter of the late William (Bud) Cooper and Helen Rathbone Cooper. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She loved fishing and working word puzzles. Surviving are a son, Donald Gene Gallman of Gaffney; a daughter, Sandra Williams and husband, Bodean of Gaffney; three sisters, Barbara Barton of Rosman, NC, Paulette Allison and Lucille Spencer and husband, Randall, both of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Billy Williams and Staci Williams; one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, two sisters, Carolyn Lecroy and Kathy Jo Fleming and three brothers-in-law, Mickey Allison, Earl Barton and Raymond Lecroy.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Osment officiating.

Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: New Hope Baptist Church, “Building Fund”, 605 13th Street, Gaffney, SC 29340. The family will be at the home of Paulette Allison, 1811 Old Georgia Highway, Gaffney.
