OBITUARY Linda Gilbert December 19, 1949 – July 14, 2018 Linda J. Gilbert was born to John and Mildred Gilbert on December 19, 1949 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The family moved to Florida when Linda was a young child so her father could continue his career as an accountant with General Electric. Linda was raised in Temple Terrace and graduated from King High School and Florida College.

She was a member of Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Temple Terrace. At the time of her death, Linda was a resident of the Villas at Sunset Bay in New Port Richie, Florida. She was predeceased by her parents and a beloved cousin, Bruce Gilbert Soden of Syracuse, NY.

She is survived by another cousin, Marcia Kola of Maine, Marcia and Bruce’s children, and a lifelong friend, Robin Myers of Virginia. The family wants to especially thank Faith Dunne, Mary Womble, Kelli Edwards and other caregivers who have been so kind to Linda in recent years. Linda’s sense of humor and sweet smile will be remembered by all.
