Linda Gilliland Powell 70 of Altoona passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at her residence Her Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at Etowah Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Carnes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 until 8 Sunday at the funeral home. Rev.

Ricky Smith and Rev. Jerry Wood will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Steven Byrd, Daniel Powell, Brent Hill, Wilton Clayton, Byron Gilliland, and Billy Smith.

She is survived by her Sons; Dale Powell (Lisa), Shane Powell (Marie), Daughters; Tina Walker (David), Betty Clayotn (Wilton), Grandchildren; Steven, Ashley, Rachel, Alexis, Daniel, Kimberly, Canaan, Amy, Tyrone, C.J., Joe, Allen, Kim, Brent, Shanna, 16 Great Grandchildren, Mother; Darcus “Dot” Gilliland, Brothers; Bruce Gilliland (Mary), Roger Gilliland (Barabra), host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband; Curtis Powell, Father; Jesse Gilliland, Grandson; David Lee Byrd.
