Linda Kay Arny was born on August 9, 1953 in Merced CA to Jack and Annette Morelock. Linda passed unexpectedly at home on December 30, 2018. Linda was raised in Santa Clara CA until 1970 when the family moved to Reno NV.
She graduated from Wooster High School and worked at numerous jobs ending her career at WCSD where she worked until her death. She had numerous friends and family in the Reno/Sparks area. Linda leaves behind her mother, Annette Morelock, her sons James McKay and Ryan Arny (Ashley), stepdaughter Sheila McKay, sister Kim Prina (Gino), neice Amanda Fryback (Elliott), nephew Nick Prina (Shannon) and numerous grandchildren that she loved dearly. Linda loved the ocean and the beach and would visit Santa Cruz California numerous times throughout the year. She truly felt at home there.
Linda also loved music and going to concerts. She most enjoyed her grandchildren and spent considerable time with them. She was generous to all.
A Memorial Service will be held on January 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Mountain View Mortuary, 425 Stoker Ave. in Reno.
