Columbiana – Linda L. Kacenski, 73, of Columbiana, passed away on January 1, 2019, at Salem Regional Medical Center. She was born, February 13, 1945 in Salem, a daughter of the late Denver and Virginia Call Black. Linda worked for over 15 years as head bookkeeper with Mellinger’s Nursery.

She enjoyed researching genealogy on both sides of her family as well as baking and sewing, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edward Kacenski, Sr., whom she married, November 20, 1970, he died, February 2, 2018. She is survived by three sons, Scott (Debbie Shaw) Kacenski of New Waterford, Donald (Shelley) Kacenski, Jr. of Austintown and Kenneth Kacenski of Arizona; four grandchildren Aaron, Jonathon, Delaney and Kody Kacenski and a great granddaughter, Freya Ross-Kacenski.

Linda was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Rupert and Dolly Hill and two brothers, Denny and David Black. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Mr. John Reed Minister officiating. Calling hours will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
