Linda Lee Brown, 75 of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on April 23, 1943 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Gordon Lee and Edith Irene (Lord) Boydston. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 2, 2018 in Elk City, Oklahoma. Linda held the office of Beckham County Court Clerk for 26 years before retiring.

Linda was a member of the State of Oklahoma Court Clerk’s Association. And all the while of holding her job and title, Linda raised three fine children and ran the household cheerfully… Read More » and with all her heart. She graduated from Carter High School.

She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors, anywhere she could dig in the dirt and plant flowers. Linda also loved decorating cakes professionally and with love. She made many family members wedding cakes.

Linda was also a wonderful seamstress and could sew anything. She also loved to quilt, many family members have quilts to cherish. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Perry Greene will officiate. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cherishing her memory are her two sons, Mitchel Brown of Texas, Jim Paul Brown of Edmond, Oklahoma; two daughters, Lesia Sellers of Elk City, Oklahoma, Andrea Wiseman of Elk City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Tyler Lister of Edmond, Oklahoma, Bryan Lister of Kingston, Oklahoma, A.J. Sellers of Elk City, Oklahoma, Shane Brown of Kingston, Oklahoma, Shayla Kelley of Kingston, Oklahoma, Rhett and Ashley Wiseman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Rylee Wiseman of Weatherford, Oklahoma; nine great-grandchildren; one sister Barbara Greene of Okay, Oklahoma; one aunt, Elizabeth Sheldon of Oswego, NY, whom she loves dearly. And a host of very special nieces and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents Gordon Lee and Edith Irene Boydston, one niece, Dana Holden.
