Linda Lee Hickman September 12, 1945 – April 21, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Linda Lee Hickman, age 73, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born September 12, 1945 in Barry County, the daughter of Gladden and Rosa (Lee) Painter. In 1963 she was united in marriage to Maynard Hickman and to this union three children were born.

Surviving are her three children, Maynard “Gene” Hickman and his wife Debbie of Bella Vista, Arkansas, William Ray Hickman and his wife Tracy of Paynesville, Minnesota and Debbie Lewis of Fairview, Missouri; friend, Mahlon Huston of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; extended daughter, Carol Griffin and her husband David of Neosho, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Edna Meryl Painter; five grandchildren, Amanda Lewis, Tanya Chappell, Steven Hickman, Mackenzie Hickman, and Briaunna Hickman; two step-grandchildren, Kyla Curry and Kara Selby; two extended grandchildren, April Brooks and Brian Griffin; seven great grandchildren and five great step-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Olen, Billy, and an infant brother; one sister, Lorrine and one grandson, Robert James Lewis. Linda was born and raised in Barry County.

Most of her life was spent in Barry County before making her home in Exeter. For many years she worked at Fasco and owned and operated her own cleaning business. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Reverend Billy Joe Gentry will conduct the services. Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
