Linda Marie (Wooddell) Roberts, 65, of Burnsville, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Bath Community Hospital. She was born November 4, 1952, the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (Carpenter) and Luther Harding Wooddell. On January 15, 1971 she married Sam Roberts.

Linda was a loving and devoted mother, enjoyed her garden, taking care of her cows and listening to George Jones. Additionally, Linda will be remembered for always living life to the fullest. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sons, Timothy, Jody and Jason Roberts; and two brothers, Danny and Gary Wooddell.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Roberts of Burnsville; daughter, Cindy Armstrong and husband, Kevin of Burnsville; son, Michael Roberts and Brenda Cauley of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Samantha Plecker, Logan, Dylan and Hannah Armstrong; great-grandson, Blake Armstrong; sister, Carolyn McCormick and husband, Charles of Williamsville; special friends, Bill Wilson and Johnny Schaeffer; as well as her beloved pet, Molly. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Burnsville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lorrie Aikens officiating.

Interment will follow in Burnsville Cemetery. The family will received friends one hour prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Schaeffer, J.P. Plecker, Mikey Cauley, Jesse Lambert, Joe Lockridge and Bill Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends in attendance.
