Linda Sue Clouse, 56, of Lane, Kansas, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at her home. Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Dengel & Son Mortuary.

Family will meet with friends immediately following the service. Linda was born Sunday, December 17, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Don Lee and Arnita (Veach) Higginbotham.

She lived five years in Windsor, Missouri and then twenty-two… Read More » years in Lane, Kansas. She received her GED and later attended Flint Hills Technical College. On July 27, 1997, Linda was united in marriage with Brent Clouse at Ottawa, Kansas.

He survives of their home. Linda is also survived by her mother, Arnita Higginbotham of Calhoun, Missouri; daughter, Camille King and her husband, Jason and their children, Aubrey and Jordon of Olathe, Kansas; and son, Brandon Clouse of Clinton, Missouri and his children, Blake of Lane, Kansas and Anthony and Joslynn of Windsor, Missouri. Brent and Linda’s oldest grandson, Blake K. Clouse, lived with them.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don L. Higginbotham, Sr. Linda worked twenty-two years in her favorite occupation of nursing. It was her passion. She retired in 2011 due to being disabled.
