Linda Sue Linda Sue (Lawrence) White, born on October 18, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late Elmer Eugene Lawrence and Billie Jean Shaw – Lawrence, passed away on March 4, 2019. Linda spent the bulk of her career as a cook for Azle and Castleberry ISD and was the resident chef of the family. It wasn’t unusual for friends and family to go visit Linda just to get a taste of her home cooking.

Linda is survived by her husband Marion Maurice White; daughter, Darla Eileen Ball – Garrett; son, John “Buzzy” Edwin McCormick; brothers, Edwin Eugene Lawrence and John Thomas Lawrence; sister, Jean Ann Lawrence – Dingman; grandchildren, Jeremy Austin Garrett, and Ashlee Marie Garrett. Linda is also survived by two stepchildren, Donald Maley and Terry Rentz and preceded in death by one stepchild, Sherry White. Friends and family can pay their respects at the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Gaye Vanzant, on Friday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Azleland, 850 N Cardinal Rd.
