Columbiana…Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 40 S. Market St., East Palestine, OH, with Pastor Joe McGinnis officiating for Linda Sue Maxwell McCamon, 68, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at The Cleveland Clinic, Hospice, in Cleveland, on December 18th, 2018. She was born on July 12th, 1950 in Salem, Ohio. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Margaret Maxwell (Terdik), and her dearest Aunt, Eleanor Maxwell.

Linda grew up in East Palestine and graduated from East Palestine High School in 1968. After raising her family in her hometown, she moved to Canfield, before finally settling down for the last twenty years in Columbiana. She made a career in the Insurance business that spanned 36 years with McCamon-Hunt Insurance Agency as their book-keeper and systems manager.

Linda was an avid golfer, a talented artist and Calligrapher, and enjoyed playing card games with family and friends. She was also a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Above all, Linda was a loving wife, partner in life, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

Her love for her grandchildren was paramount and she cherished every moment with them. Linda is survived by her partner in life, Jim Tauchar, of Columbiana. Also surviving are her brothers, Brian Maxwell (Jim), of Palm Springs, California, Mark Maxwell (Jean) of Columbiana, Kim Maxwell (Paula) of Cape Coral, Florida, and Scott Maxwell (Tina) of Middletown, Ohio; her sons, J. Stanton McCamon, and his children, Addison and Joshua of Canfield and Curt McCamon and his wife, Jessica, and their 3 children, John, Caylah, and Joseph of Chagrin Falls, In addition, Linda is survived by J. Allan McCamon of Poland.

Linda, Mom, Grandma, Sis will be dearly missed. The McCamon family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Saturday morning, Dec. 22, 2018 from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m., at Centenary United Methodist Church, 40 S. Market St., in East Palestine, prior to the 12:00 p.m. funeral service.

In lieu of flowers and donations may be made to the American Cancer Society of Youngstown.
