Obituary for Linda W. Bandy Linda Webb (Lembright) Bandy, 74, of Homeworth, died peacefully due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Crandall Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1942, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to Dr. Joseph Frederick and Audra (Webb) Lembright. Linda was a 1960 graduate of Alliance High School and attended Miami University and Bliss Business School in Columbus.

Linda was an active member of Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church for many years where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir. Additionally, she was a member of the Alliance Woman’s Club and the Alliance Elk’s. For many years, Linda was a dedicated volunteer at Alliance Community Hospital besides being a creative homemaker and mother.

Linda and Don had recently celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on January 23. Besides her husband Don, other survivors include her daughter Ella Bandy of Richmond, Va. ; her daughter Elizabeth Bandy of Homeworth; and her son Don (Brooke) of Homeworth; her sisters, Sue Cinquini of Alliance and Martha Day of New Jersey; two grandsons Carter and Jake; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Caroline Jo (Lembright) Kunz of Alliance. The family would like to especially thank Crandall Medical Center and Hospice of the Valley for the many years of compassionate care. Funeral services will be held at Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Homeworth on Thursday, April 20, at 1:00 p.m. Calling hours will be held at the church on Thursday, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National MS Society or Hospice of the Valley.
