Obituary of Linda Bobzien Linda A. Bobzien passed away Thursday December 13, 2018 at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in Lockport on August 6, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Helene Steblein Duwe. Linda graduated from Lockport Senior High School, Class of 1960, worked as a nurses aide at Briody Health Care Facility and also was a hairdresser out of her home.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the 1960’s Club and volunteered with the Lockport YMCA swim team. Linda was the mother of Kristine Hamilton, Jeffrey (Teresa) Bobzien, Curtis (Marla) Bobzien, and the late Kimberly Bobzien; grandmother of Seth Hamilton, Kimberlee Hamilton, Ryan Townsend, Taylor Bobzien and Jordyn Bobzien. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel (Linda) Duwe and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday, Dec. 17th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Dec.

18th at 10 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton St., Lockport. Interment will be in Somerset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the South Lockport Fire Company, Roswell Park Cancer Institute or to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
