Linda Sue Kelley, 72, of Weston slipped peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston. She was born in Lewis County on March 9, 1946 a daughter of the late William H. and Betty Louise Horner Butcher. Linda is survived by five children: David Neil Hicks of Weston, Betty Hardbarger and husband, David, of Alum Bridge, Randal Allen Hicks and wife, Tina, of North Carolina, Creed “Sonny” Hicks of Walkersville, and Michael Todd Hicks of Weston; ten grandchildren: Joshua Hardbarger and wife, Jennifer, Samantha Hardbarger, Christopher, Justin, Chasity, Casey, Brandy, and Dylan Hicks, and Alyssa Hill; eleven great grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; one brother, Everett Butcher and wife, Violet, of Alum Bridge; and her pride and joy Chihuahua, Keyla.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Lee Hicks; and one brother, Robert Jerry Butcher. Linda worked at Weston State Hospital as a CNA for over ten years. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors in the beautiful Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.

She also attended Rock Grove Baptist Church in Linn. Above all, Linda treasured her time spent with her family. She will be greatly missed.

Linda’s request for cremation has been honored and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew is honored and privileged to serve the family of Linda Sue Kelley.
