M. Lindburg “Lynn” Lauderdale, 88, of Delphi, formerly of Flora, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at IU Arnett Health Care in Lafayette. He was born in Philcampbell, AL on February 14, 1930 to William Raymond and Cora Annie (Dodd) Lauderdale. He married Minda Downing, she preceded him in death.

Lindburg then married Laura “Jean” Spillman; she also preceded him in death. Lindburg worked for 51 years in plumbing and heating with Von A. Burton and then ran Lauderdale Plumbing and Heating with his son. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Flora and attended First Assembly of God in Delphi.

He enjoyed woodworking and watching boxing on TV. He is survived by his children, Terry (Martha) Lauderdale of Flora, Diane (Terry) Kelly of Arizona; a sister Freda (Lawson) Clark of Alabama; grandchildren, Teri Turner, Mitchell Kelly, Leslie Milton, Christopher Lauderdale, Jeff Lauderdale; 18 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Lindburg was preceded in death by his parents, wives, four sisters and four brothers.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 10am until the time of the service at 11am at Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel in Flora. Pastor Brent Oliver will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
