Lisa D. Smith, age 56, of Ferry Township, passed away away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Muskegon. Lisa was born August 9, 1962 in Galesburg, Illinois to Burl and Rita (Maxwell) Anderson. She was raised in Galesburg and lived most of her life in Michigan.

She married Daniel Smith and lived in Ferry Township many years. Lisa was a CNA at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility in Hart. She lived for her grandchildren and also loved her fur babies (her dogs and cat).

She is survived by her husband, Daniel; her son, Randy King of Boston; her daughter, Brittany (Chuck) Evans of New Era; grandchildren, Kaydence King of Hesperia, Christopher Kissling, Zoey Hunter and Addison Evans of New Era; her parents, Burl and Rita Anderson of Galesburg, Illinois; and her siblings, Tami (Joseph) Wallace of Riegelwood, North Carolina, Jodi (Bob) Burke of Galesburg, Illinois, Tim (Julie) Anderson of Louisville, Kentucky, Jennifer (Todd) Buske of Cibolo, Texas, Bruce Anderson and Benjamin Anderson both of Indianapolis, Indiana and Amy Anderson of Galesburg, Illinois. Visitation is Monday, March 11th, 10 am to Noon and 4-7 pm. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 12th, 11 am at Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Paulette Zoulek officiating.

Interment will be in Ferry Township Cemetery in the spring. Memorials for family expenses are appreciated.
