Obituary for Lloyd Michael Dove It is with a heavy heart, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, Lloyd Michael (Mike) Dove, husband, father, son and nephew passed away at the age of 56. He was born November 8, 1961 in Chester. He was a longtime resident of Lancaster but was raised in Chester.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Adams Dove, his son, Lane Dove, his mother, Patricia Motes Price, his aunt, Teresa Motes Buff, nieces, nephews, and cousins all who say he was very dear to them. His passing is preceded by his brother, James Bruce Ballew. Mike Dove had a passion for golf and the Clemson Tigers, loved spending time at home with his canine companions, Tink, Buddy Lee and Dusty.

Dove was said to have a love for intellectual conversation and to have a presence that never went unnoticed. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home. Notes to the family may be made at www.
