Funeral Services for Lloyd R. Reed 55 of Fort Dodge will be Friday, November 30, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Otho Kalo Community Church in rural Otho. Visitation will be from 2pm until time of services also at the Otho Kalo Community Church. Interment will be at a later date.

Lloyd Robert Reed was born January 15, 1963 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Robert and LaVonne (Gabrielson) Reed. He grew up in Fort Dodge area and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. Lloyd served in the United States Air Force for four years.

After his service he lived in North Dakota for a while before returning to Fort Dodge. Lloyd worked construction for Superior Siding for a number of years and then started driving truck. In his free time, Lloyd enjoyed riding and refurbishing his Harley Davidson’s.

He also enjoyed hunting and martial arts. He was a member of the Farnhamville American Legion Post 510. On Thursday, November 22, 2018 Lloyd Robert Reed died at the Unity Point Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.

He is survive by his loving companion of over 20 years, Debbie Rossmanith of Fort Dodge, his children; Chris Rank of Fort Dodge, Cody Reed of Ruthven, Iowa, Chris (Lindsey) Taylor of Fort Dodge, and Kelly (Chris) Schempp of Grand Forks, North Dakota. 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Elizabeth and one sister Cindy Reed of Fort Dodge. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joanna.
