OBITUARY Lois A. Taylor June 21, 1933 – September 14, 2018 Lois A. Taylor, born June 21, 1933, passed away at home Friday September 14, 2018, attended by her children after an extended illness. She was born 85 years ago in Vancouver, B.C., Canada and was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and “Minnie” Farrell, and by her WV Airman Husband, Kenny W. Taylor. She is survived by her children, Sharon Taylor Snyder and Jeffrey Tayler both of Malden, then Myrtle Beach, SC; her beloved grandchildren, Shanna Snyder Coleman of St. Albans, Travis Taylor of Malden.

She is also survived by sisters, Carol Stephenson of Seattle, WA. and Beverly (Jim) Campbell of Vancouver, Canada and their extended families. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, Harold Taylor of Charleston and Donnie Taylor (Sharon Perry) of Culloden; sister-in-law, Inge Taylor of Anacoco, LA and brother-in-law, Clarence Wingo of Winfield, and their families.

She is also survived by her “Daughter from another mother” Carolyn Vest of Socastee. Lois was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church on Glens Bay Road and many other charitable and social organizations. She was kind, compassionate and the epitome of a great mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, neighbor, friend and Christian.

She expanded that network of friends after her marriage and relocation to Malden and then again when she and Kenny retired to their new home in Myrtle Beach 22 years ago. A Memorial Service was held for Lois in Myrtle Beach on September 24, 2018. Another Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden.

A private interment with Kenny will be held on Wednesday October 3. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in her name to Lois’s favorite charity, HELP 4 KIDS, 2523 Forest Brook Rd Unite, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.
