Lois Anne Caldwell, 83 of Avon (Formerly of Pittsboro), passed away peacefully, November 20, 2018. Lois was born, September 18, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Harvey and Lois Ogden. She married Jack Dillon Caldwell on Sept.

20, 1953 in Indianapolis, a loving union that would last over sixty years until his passing in April of 2014. She worked as an Accounting Clerk for State Life Insurance. Lois was a member of the Pittsboro OES #416, the Pittsboro Christian Church, and the Bridge Club.

Survivors include her sons, Shane F (wife Melanie) and Thomas L. Caldwell; grandchildren, Cassee (husband Trevor), Jacob (wife Candy), and Ethan; and two great-grandchildren. Friends and family will gather from 4 pm until 7 pm, Tuesday, November 27 in the David A. Hall Mortuary. A Memorial Service in Celebration of her life will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, November 28 in the Mortuary.

Inurment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Indiana. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are suggested to the Indiana Masonic Home. Care of the Caldwell family has been entrusted to Eric MD Bell, Funeral Director of the David A. Hall Mortuary.
