Carpenter October 26, 1924 – February 16, 2019 Recently resident of Livermore from Hayward On February 16th, 2019 our family lost an amazing soul, Lois Carpenter of 94 years young. Lois was one of the smartest, funniest, loving, caring, thoughtful woman you could have ever met. She had a wealth of knowledge and was fascinating to sit with and talk.

She lived through Prohibition, the depression, the dust bowl, World War 2, and so much more. During World War 2 she was a “Rosie the Riveter”. She lived in the Bay Area since 1949.

She saw herself as a California Okie from Oklahoma. She is survived by her Son, Bruce Carpenter, and her Daughter Paula Foulk. She had four Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed.
