OBITUARY Lois Beckfield Thompson November 14, 1927 – January 7, 2019 Lois B. Thompson, 91, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on Jan. 7, 2019. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Alex.

They met when she moved, as a child of five, to live just four doors away on the same street in Pittsburgh, PA. Following the end of WWII, they were married and employed in Pittsburgh, and eventually in Chicago, Cleveland, Hartford, Philadelphia, and Boston. Lois is survived by three sons; Cam in Michigan; Grant in Ohio; and Eric in Jacksonville; and one daughter, Janet Work in Colorado; plus 11 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements by Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, for Lois and eventually Alex, together forever at Sarasota National Cemetery.
