Lois’ Obituary Lois Dean (Rounsaville) Stanley, 92 of Dalhart, Texas passed away December 20, 2018. Services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dalhart Church of Christ under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home. Lois was born November 9, 1926 in Berta, Arkansas to Charley Earl Rounsaville and Vida E. (Baskin) Rounsaville and moved to Dalhart in 1941.

She married Raymond Gene Stanley October 10, 1944. For more than 40 years, Lois sold Stanley Home Products. She received many awards and honors during her time as a dealer and unit leader.

Lois was a people person and never met a stranger. She was the ultimate salesman and loved being able to share her belief in the quality of the Stanley products. Lois was a longtime member of the 55+ Club, in which she served as president for many years.

She was an active member of the Senior Citizen Center and oversaw the Friday night game night. Lois served as a Pink lady volunteer for the Coon Memorial Nursing Home. Lois served as president of the Extension Homemakers Club and was honored as Woman of the Year during her membership.

She was a member of a Red Hats Society group. Lois was a cherished member of the Denver Avenue Church of Christ. Lois has been a part of several card and coffee clubs throughout the years.

She enjoyed playing games, cards, SkipBo and Bingo. She was very competitive and always played to win. Lois was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband Gene (1991), her sister Glenda Norman of Dumas (Dec. 17, 2018). Lois is survived by her three children: Judy and husband Gary Heiskell of Dalhart, Texas, Robert and wife Cindy Stanley of Amarillo, Texas, Cindy and husband Tom Magee of Emmitsburg, Iowa.

Five grandchildren: Carla and husband Brandon Judd of Dalhart, Texas, Lindsey Stanley of Amarillo, Texas, Ryan Magee of Midland, Texas, Mica and husband Jarrett Jones of Waconia, Minnesota. Eight great grandchildren: Landry, Gentry and Dailee Judd, Libby and Lauren Heiskell, Beckett, Brock and Boston Jones. Brother Jay and wife Carol Rounsaville of Bowie, Texas and many nieces, nephews and friends.
