Lois Hindman, age 73, of Pitcairn, died October 10, 2018, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born April 18, 1945, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William John and Florence (Rout) Keller. Lois was retired from UPMC, where she worked as a L.P.N.

She also worked in end of life care for many years. She recently attended Assembly of God of Pitcairn. Lois always enjoyed reading the bible, listening to Gospel music and writing in her journal.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois is survived by her children, Shauna Hindman of Guilford, CT, Mickell (Michael) Balonze of Branford, CT, Amber (Eugene) Hindman-Kyles of Turtle Creek and Kelcy (Gregory) Mitchell of Monroeville; grandchildren, Ste-Von, Shontez, Destiny, DeJhon, Kobie, Kennedy, Lauren, Tyler and Sara; great grandchildren, RaJon, Journey and Carmelo; sister, Saundra Beddard; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois was also preceded in death by brother, William John Keller, Jr. Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on October 12, 2018, 5 p.m., at Assembly of God Church, 520 Wall Ave. , Pitcairn, PA 15140. Pastor Bob Morgan will be the celebrant.
