Obituary for Lois Lorita Johnson Lois Lorita Johnson a long time resident of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully on April 17. Lois was born in Lyndon, Kansas on November 23, 1929 to Bertha (Bryden) and John Neff. Lois graduated high school in Emporia, KS.

and soon after married Billy D. Rich. They later divorced and Lois married Kenneth Johnson and moved from Topeka Kansas to Minnesota where Lois and Ken owned and operated Dynamic Realty Twin Cities, Inc. working side by side until retirement. Lois was a creative and talented artist and loved to paint, read, play bridge, and research her ancestry.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth, her sister Mary Catherine Maddox of Kansas, and her brother John Neff of California. She is lovingly survived by her daughter Kathleen Zurek (Kathy), two grandsons Robert (Angela) and Jonathan Zurek, two great grandchildren Vincent and Maxwell Zurek, her sister Nona Thompson in Emporia, KS. , and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Shannon Lynch who was a devoted and compassionate caregiver/ friend of Lois for the past few years. In keeping with Lois’s wishes a private graveside service will be held at Epiphany Cemetery in Coon Rapids where Lois will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband of nearly sixty years Kenneth. Arrangements have been entrusted to Washburn-McReavy Funeral Home in Coon Rapids where words of condolence and memories may be shared at www.
