Lois was born on April 29, 1931, in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of George and Ina (Brock) Webber. Lois graduated from Middleton High School.

Lois married Thomas Robinson on January 29, 1966. Lois worked as a school bus driver for the Madison school district for over 50 years.
