Lois Marie Thompson, age 92 of Wautoma, died on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Silver Lake Manor (Her 93rd birthday would have been June 30th). She was born on June 30, 1925 in Highland Park, IL to Earl and Sophia (Kopeschke) Thompson and raised in Mt Morris. Lois worked for the Milwaukee Public Library at the downtown location for 20 years and then as a Telephone Operator at the phone company and then a Secretary at her church.

She lived and worked in Milwaukee for over 40 years until moving to Wautoma on retirement. Lois was a member of Hope Lutheran Church where she was involved with the Choir, Ladies Circle, Quilting Group and other activities at church. She was a member of the Waushara/Wautoma Senior Center, AARP and was also active in many community events.

Lois is survived by special cousins: Dan and Rosemary Bartel; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Spencer James Thompson. Memorial services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM. Burial will take place at Mt. Morris Holden Lutheran Church Cemetery.
