Graveside Services for Lois M. Pearson, 102, Madison, will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Lyons Cemetery in Lyons, Nebraska. Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements. She passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Countryside Home in Madison, Nebraska.

Lois was born September 23, 1916 to her parents Charles and Nina (Anderson) Pearson in rural Lyons, Nebraska. She attended grade school and graduated from high school in Lyons. Lois worked as an administrative assistant at Mutual of Omaha for 37 years.

After retirement, she served as a volunteer at Methodist Hospital for 16 years. Lois had the opportunity to travel extensively to Scandinavia, Europe, the British Isles, the Caribbean, Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, and throughout many other states in the United States. She enjoyed knitting, reading, playing cards, music and socializing with family and friends.

Lois is survived her beloved family, Jan and Richard Hake and family of Madison, NE; Bill and Gloria Best and family of Lincoln; Gerry and Bonnie Larson and family of Lincoln; Dick Larson and family of Omaha, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Rosemarie Pearson. There’s still time to send flowers to the Graveside Service at the Lyons Cemetery at 2:00 PM on May 20, 2019.
