Lois M. Fissel, age 90, Logansport, passed away at 5:56 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018, at Chase Center. Born October 7, 1928, in Harrisburg, Ill. , she was the daughter of Charles Doalie Randolph Phillips.

She was married in Logansport on May 18, 1967, to Harlin S. Fissel, who preceded her in death on March 20, 2014. Lois had been employed as a psychiatric attendant at the Logansport State Hospital for 37 years. She enjoyed crocheting, music and dancing, and most especially her dogs.

Surviving are eight children, Sharon Wood, Vero Beach, Fla. , Mary M. Fissel, Logansport, Lois (Rick) Smith, Alderwood, Wash. , Shirley (Larry) Selleck, Galveston, Susan Bowen, Logansport, Sheryl (Hugh) Selleck, Logansport, Bill (Becki) Harris, Logansport, Doris (Bob) Hall, Rochester; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Two sons, Charles Fissel and Michael Harris, two brothers, Bud Phillips and James Phillips and two sisters, Vivian Newton and Bobo Spoor, preceded her in death. Arrangements are pending at this time.
