OBITUARY LOLA MARIA MARES-STURHAN July 6, 1955 – September 20, 2018 Lola Maria Mares-Sturhan, 63, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born on July 6, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Maria De Socorro Mares. Her mother and siblings preceded her in death.

Lola is survived by her devoted husband, William L. Sturhan; her children, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Michael Soto and his wife Cipriana, Teresa Melgar and husband Miguel, Jessica Soto and husband Lupe, Chaz Terry, Alyssa Mares, Analice Sturhan, Jacob Sturhan, Jayden Sturhan, William Sturhan, Brian Sturhan and Eric Sturhan; her grandchildren, Christina, Linda, Alfredo, Adrian, Stephanie, Cassandra, Jesus, Anthony, Christian, David, Adrianna, Jessalyn, Xavier, Martin, Quentin and Isaiah; her loving brother, Jose Antonio Mares and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 5-9 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.

Entombment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
