Loren’s Obituary Loren P. Bronstad Sr., age 88, of Waseca, died on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Bridgewater of Janesville. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM on Friday, March 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville with Rev. Larry Griffin and Rev.
Paul Muther, officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Woodville Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
www. janesvillefuneral.com Loren Phillip Bronstad Sr. was born on February 10, 1931, to Ingval and Julia (Henderson) Bronstad in Chetek, WI. He lived in Chetek until enlisting into the United States Army in 1952, serving in the Korean war and being honorably discharged in 1954.
On October 22, 1956, Loren was united in marriage to Arlene Ozmun in Faribault. Together they made their home in Faribault although Loren traveled back and forth from Wisconsin working as a logger. Together they raised 12 children.
Later in life, Loren moved onto a farm in rural Waseca where he worked for a dairy farmer for many years. Loren was a hard worker and always provided for his family. He loved catching and eating fish and listening to Stomp and Fiddle Music.
Loren’s sense of humor was unique and stuck with him all the way until the end. He will be dearly missed. Loren is survived by his children: Joan of Montgomery, Julie (Rob) of Cumberland, WI, Larry Sr. (Pam) of Rice Lake, WI, Lowell Sr. (Wendy) of Janesville, Llyod of Currie, Leonard Sr. (Tammy) of Tracy, Jeanne of Waterville, Lester of Killkenny, and Lonnie (Niki) of New Ulm; grandchildren:, Janie, John Jr., Jenny and Jacqueline, Loretta, Shannon, Dominic, Jesse, Carla, Jimmy, Nicole, Kayla, Kyle, Loren III, Dusty, April, Gary, Larry Jr., Mike, Lowell Jr., Megan, Lexi, Ashley, Zabrina, Lester, Leonard Jr., Brittany, Kenzi, Jesse, Corey, Casey, Jayson, Coltyn, Dylan, Levi, Tuckor, Cameron, and Carter; great grandchildren: Jordyn, Jackson, Harlow, Justine, Jasmine, Jadon, Javier, Jess, Matrisha, Martin, Marvin, Maliyna, Jalissa, Shania, Kendra, Kerianna, Alexis, Dejuan, Trinity, Gary Jr., Hunter, Cheyenne, Ashton, Jeremiah, Karsyn, McKayla, Colton, Hayden, Liam, Alexis, Dustin, Jackson, Champagne, Delilah, Alyviah, Alania, Gabriella, Savaelyn, Alarryik, Aria, Gevevecia, Brody, Gavin, Taylor, Tamyah, Zaeveon, Phoenix, Katelyn, Kadyn, Landon, Lenny Jr., Evelyn, Jesse Jr., Jaxson, Jaelynn, Josie, Steven, Maci, Isaac, Parker, Harlow, Hayven, Colton Jr., Kylie and Emily; great-great grandchildren: Jeremiah, Joshua, Gio, and Dominic.
He is also survived by son-in-law: John Wroblewski Sr. of Faribault and one brother, Andy (Donna) Bronstad of Chippewa Falls, WI; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Arlene; children: Loren Jr., Judy, and Janice; grandchildren: Lee and Sara; and four siblings.
