Loren Stanley Griffin, 85 of Arab, passed away early Thursday morning February 14, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Griffin grew up in East Liverpool Ohio, He retired in 1983 from Crucible Steel. He drove a school bus in Claysville for 21 years, and served as a store manager for the Holiness Hollow Rock Camp Ground for 32 years.

Mr. Griffin also served in the US Navy as a Seabee. Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife: Beverly Griffin, Sons: Richard Allan Griffin and Brian Eugene Griffin (Beate), Daughter: Lora Gill (Paul), Brother: Larry Griffin, Sister Margie Purtell (Kevin) Grandchildren: Summer Gill, Kelsy Gill, Carrie Griffin and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: Loren and Pauline Griffin and Sisters: Rachel Peddicord ad Shelia Zoellars.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening at Carr Funeral Home February 17, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held Monday at Carr Funeral Home Chapel, February 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Diamond Cemetery.
