OBITUARY Lorena Elmira Ferrington November 10, 1925 – September 27, 2018 Lorena Elmira Steele Ferrington, 92, of Eva, LA, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Moss Bluff. She was born to her late parents, David and Belle Steele in Eva, LA on November 10, 1925. She loved gardening, flowers, and cooking at her home.

Lorena enjoyed shopping and loved decorating for all the seasons of the year. She is survived by her son, William Wesberry and wife Tamara of Buna, TX; daughter, Carolyn Coleman of Moss Bluff; sister, Linda Manuel and husband Del of Moss Bluff; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Lorena is preceded in death by her two daughters, Diane Landry, Marcia Butler; one brother, Wesley Marion Steele; three sisters, Elsie Mouch, Mildred Pecanty, and Betty Smith.

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Steele Cemetery in Eva, LA. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www. hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
