Lorenzo Giordano, 88, a resident of Port Chester died surrounded by his family on May 24, 2019. He was born March 16, 1931 in Villa San Giovanni, Reggio Calabria, Italy to the late Domenico and Santina Arcuri Giordano. He was raised and educated in Italy.

He attended a Military Academy in Lecce, Italy. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a BS in Engineering. Mr. Giordano was married November 1954 to Joanne Accurso at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester.

He was an engineer for Peabody Engineering in Darien, CT. Mr. Giordano is survived by his beloved wife Joanne Giordano of Port Chester, NY, his beloved children Anna M. Paccione and husband Robert of Vorhees, NJ. , Dominick A. Giordano and partner Michael A. Helbig of New York City, NY and Vincent Giordano and wife Bonnie of Armonk, NY.

Brothers Demetrio Girodano of Silver Lake, NY. , Anthony Girodano of Port Chester, NY. , Paul Girodano of Edinborough, Scotland and Joseph Giordano of Patterson, NY, sisters Lina Neri of Port Chester, NY.

, Carmela Santigati and Rosa Creazzo both of Villa San Giovanni, Italy. grandchildren Vanessa Paccione, Robert Paccione, Kimberly Fox, Alexander Grim, Andrew Giordano, Thomas Giordano, Steven Giordano and Nicholas Girodano, great grandson William Fox. He was predeceased by his sister Pasqualina Creazzo.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Tuesday May 28, 2019 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Greenwich, CT.
