Loretta J. Johnson Todd passed from this life on October 28, 2018 at Mountain View Manor. She was born to Harold (Jim) and Helen Schott Johnson on December 26, 1937 in Great Falls. Loretta came to Trego with her parents and 2 brothers at the age of 6 months.

She spent her school years at Trego Elementary and Lincoln County High School, graduating in 1956. On September 21st, 1956 she married the love of her life, Bruce, and they were together for 62 years. She spent her life dedicated to the Trego community by being a 4-H leader for 20 years, school bus driver for 18 years driving for both Trego Elementary and Lincoln County High Schools.

She served as a board member for the Trego Community Hall, was a volunteer firefighter on the TFS Fire Department, and loved playing the piano at home and often played for hall dances and school functions. She worked at Crystal Lakes during the construction of the Tunnel and Libby Dam years, and then later worked for the Alamon phone system traveling and working with Bruce. She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers, Kermit, Gerald, Thomas, and Russell.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Todd, daughters, Dorothy Goodwin, Donna (Coleman) Lowery, Janet (Jay) McCully; her sister, Sandra (Jerry) Beard; sister-in-law’s, Velma, Sherry, June, Lora, Connie, and her Aunt Lillian Schott Daniel; grandchildren Jena (Chris) Enoch, Janine (Shane) Goodwin, Dawn (Robert) Altmaier, Megan (Walter) Laines, Dawson (Rachelle) McCully, and Danielle (Zach) Maassen; great grandchildren Kelsey (Taylor) Flynn, Nalu Belanio, Ashton Enoch, Evan and Emily Laines, Brian, Alexia and Aspen Altmaier; great-great granddaughter Aubree Flynn; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 3rd at 1pm Trego Civic Center. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Eureka.
