Loretta Marie (Lins ) Cable , of Hartly, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 81. Born in Phoenix, MD on Feb.

15, 1937. The daughter of the late Maurice and Hilda Mae Turnbaugh Lins. Loretta worked at the Old Vita Foods in Chestertown, as a housekeeper at Washington College; and worked several years in Ridgely warehouse.

Loretta enjoyed crocheting, and hours a day in the yard, planting flowers, and trimming things up. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gary M. Cable. Two brothers, Maurice and Tommy Lins, both of Chestertown, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Addison, Helen Lewis, and Eva Mae Merchant. Brothers, John W. Lins, Ralph E. Lins, and Walter Gordon Lins. Funeral Services will be held 4 pm, Sunday, November 11, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave.

, Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 248 E. Chestnut Hill Rd. , Suite 4, Newark, DE 19713.
