OBITUARY Lorie Ann Johnson November 20, 1974 – February 4, 2019 Lorie Ann Johnson, age 44, of Vincent, Alabama passed away on Monday February 4, 2019. Lorie was born November 20, 1974. Lorie was a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, and sister.

she loved life itself, and treated each day as a gift. She was the type who would do without to make sure those around her had enough. Lorie was never one to turn away hard work, she enjoyed being out in the yard, and staying busy.

she could turn any project into a masterpiece. She was always looking for a good deal,, and could spot a yard sale a mile away. She often bragged about the little treasures she found on her adventures.

she adored Christmas and decorating or redecorating her own home as well as others homes if they ever needed help. She was also an amazing mother who chose to educate her children at home in order to give them the best possible. Lorie was a strong willed woman who stood up for what she believed in especially when it came to those she loved.

She struggled for many months with her illnesses and is finally at peace. she is preceded by her grandparents, Sam and Madge Marino, Tillis and Florence Cook; mother in law, Connie Duvall; and many aunts and uncles. left behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 16 years Jason Johnson; children, Dominic Johnson, Mary Katherine Johnson; parents, Charles and Cheryl Cook; sisters, Christy Harrington (Benny Glaze), and Sue Young (Tom), and nephew, Tyler Hethcox, and a plethora of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lorie was a well loved, strong, kind woman who will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held at Vincent Revival Center in Vincent, Alabama on Sunday, February 10, 2019; visitation with family will be from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm with the service beginning at 3:00pm.
